HOME LEARNING

Week 4: 25th January 2021

The teachers have been so impressed with the efforts you have made last week and for submitting the right pieces of work to them. We really are ever so proud of the work you are doing!

All year groups will be set a similar format of work each week. This will include: a spelling task, three literacy lessons, three maths lessons and a challenge. There will also be a range of other subjects related to the year group's curriculum plus PE.

The year teams will make it clear which pieces of work they would like the children to email to their teacher on their website. Of course, this doesn't mean that the others aren't important,  it just means these are the key tasks which the teachers feel have built up to during the week.

We have also added in assemblies for you to watch. To begin with this will be a weekly assembly from Mrs Taylor. There will also be different staff reading a chapter of an excellent book, 'The Highland Falcon Thief'. Try to watch a chapter a day to keep up!

For the class google meets please have a set of ABCD cards ready (to show a multiple choice answer) in case they are needed. A template can be found here, or by all means make your own!

If you require a Home Learning pack please click the link above and submit your request. Please do this every week to ensure we copy enough.

PAST HOME LEARNING

As always, we would like you to practice your times tables and spellings. The links below will help.

Parents please test your children in the way we do at school - they will tell you how!
