Week Beginning: 4 January - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We are so sorry that you can't be in school right now, but it is the best for everyone!
Here is the work for you to do, but only if you feel well enough to do it.
If you are not sure about any of the tasks, please email your class teacher through the <classname>@orchardjunior.com email address and they will respond as soon as they can.
We are using the National Oak Academy, which is a Government funded initiative to support pupils working at home at this time. We have chosen units of work from there website that fit as best as we can hope for. All the lessons have videos to take you through the learning, and many have worksheets or a quiz - we strongly advise parents to watch this introductory visit so your child can make the most of what's available.
We're moving onto multiplication this term. Start at lesson 1 and do the first five lessons.
For Art, have a go at this art lesson about Archimboldo - how to draw faces as food!
Also, as our topic is Strictly Bake Off, try and learn this dance with someone at home!
It's multiplication and division this week. Start at lesson 1 and try to do the first five lessons.
In Art, we'll be looking at Ancient Greek Pots. Take a look at this video and see if you can draw one yourself by following the instuctions.
In Languages this week, try learning some basic Mandarin as we start our topic on the Shang Dynasty.
